Your bankruptcy is not left in the responsibility.

If you pay on this loan is expected to continue.

File for bankruptcy, they must prove that his wife has no financial assets at all. No bank account, no savings, nothing. In the United Kingdom, the cost is 250 to bankruptcy court to file. It is an advantage that his wife or his ex-wife, she is legally entitled to half the value of your home and its contents to explain the bankruptcy disqualified.

The best way to speak with a lawyer .... The attempt to create a free consultation to reach an idea of where you are and what may be taking the best route to get to.

I think if they are legally divorced and divided the debt / equity, it would not be liable for its debts, but .... It is a joint loan. They sign a cooperation agreement on the other side and would be responsible if it was, I think.
